TY PROCTOR GRAND PRIX CHALLENGE GAME

Wolverhampton's Grand Prix speedway challenge will return for 2012 & supporting Ty Proctor.

Ty will be donating 2012 merchandise for the winner who collects the most points throughout the whole series.
All you have to do is choose a Grand Prix rider for each round - it's that simple. His points will be accumulated during the season BUT you cant use him again! So would you save Chris Holder for Cardiff like Ty Proctor?
If your interested in playing and details see Mary Wakelam in the lower bar during any HOME meetings or you can e-mail
oo17kvs@hotmail.com for more details.

Ty himself is looking forward to getting involved in the game. He added: "It's a great game to play and a bit of fun. I look forward to the day when fans will be in a position to pick me as a Grand Prix rider but for now I'll just have to keep picking Holder and see where that gets me!"

SECOND PLACE AT WOFFY CLASSIC AND BACK AT WOLVES IN 2012

Hey Guys, I managed a second in the second annual Rob Woffinden Classic at Pinjar Park Speedway in Perth last night. I scored 8 points in my qualifying heats and although I wasn't totally happy with my bike set-up it was enough to get me into the final against Ricky Wells, Simon Stead and Frank Smart. I had gate four and didnt quite manage to get across the field going into the first corner but I managed second so it wasn't that bad a night's work.

I'm also happy to announce that Im going to be back at Wolves in 2012. The team is looking a strong one again with Nicolai back in the side along with Woffy and hopefully Freddie. Tahere is no reason why we can't reach the play-offs come September. To win the league we all need to raise our game and I'm looking to giving it my best shot again come March. I just need to sort something out in Poland now and I'm sorted for next season. Speak Soon. Ty.

2nd in JACK YOUNG CUP

Hey Guys, It was good to get back on a bike again on Saturday night as I rode in the Jack Young Cup at Gillman Speedway. I had a good night finished second in the final to Davey Watt.  I scored 11 points from my five programmed rides and had to go into the 'last chance' semi-final which I managed to win before finishing second in the main final. The bikes ran well all night and it was great to see such a great crowd turn up for the event. It was a great night and an honour to ride in such an event where all the proceeds went to Leigh Adams who is on his long road to recovery.

SWEDISH CONTRACT SIGNED

Hey Guys, Hope you are all OK. I have been home now for nearly two weeks and things are moving quickly with a few things happening. I'm delighted to announce that I have signed a contract to ride with Elit Vetlanda in Sweden. I will be riding with the likes of Jason Crump, Jarek Hampel and Emil Sayfutdinov and I can only learn stuff from these guys riding with them week in week out. I'm stoked to have sorted something out and can't wait to get going!! Things in England haven't really moved anywhere until the Promoter conference is done this coming weekend but, I'm hoping things will be sorted out soon once the rules and points limit are confirmed.

I have also become an Uncle this week with news that my brother Toby and his partner Nat have a new baby daughter by the name of Indy Harper. I'm sure my new niece will soon become my new number one fan!! Congratulations guys.

SEASON OVER

Well that's the season over after my last meeting for Wolves last night. It was a pity we couldn't finish with a win but the Bees had a pretty solid team and we missed Woffy big time. I had an OK sort of night apart from an exclusion in my last race for missing the two minute time allowance. I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has again helped out this season including my mechanics, team mates and of course the supporters who have continued to back us through the good and bad times. I'm ready for the trip back home now and looking forward to getting some sunshine on my back and giving my body a rest. I will though be ready for the 2012 season come the turn of the year. Check out the website for news on where I will be racing next season and what I've been upto in Aussie.
